It is the most little Republic in the world, with its about 25.000 inhabitants and 61 km.

It is a medieval village with its small houses, picturesque lanes, and the monuments of the historical centre situated on the Titano Mountain at the weight of 750 metres.

Places of interests are the Government Palace,  the Church of San Francesco and various museums.
